2010 list - top 7

Okay this is it...

So 2010 has started with a bang:

1) Dec 31st-Jan 1st Allen and I threw our first New Year's Eve party. It was a huge success! We asked all the couples to bring an appetizer/side dish/dessert and Allen and I provided the drinks and main course. Allen was so wonderful. While I got to play hostess, he made spiced egg nog and a HUGE beef tenderloin. They both were delicious! We ate, chatted, and even enjoyed a fire outside...oh ya and the ball dropped and all the couples kissed ;)

2) Allen got a job in Kennesaw, GA. He's living with Mama and Keon and comes to visit as often as he can. We are so thankful for this opportunity...even though we have to be apart again. Allen has always wanted to learn how to start a business and now he's getting too!! God is so great!

3) I'm meeting with a few Grad friends every Sunday after church for bible study. We're covering the bible in a year! I wasn't sure if I would like/enjoy/learn from this bible study since the only structured thing about it are the set chapters to read everyday...but I am!! Every time I read the bible and every time we meet I learn something new...and I'm always amazed! Last week we started Exodus. It's still January and we're already in Exodus. Awesome!

4) I've started back at the Wii Fit Plus. I love this Fit Plus...I can organize different routines (between yoga and strength training), do balance games, or even aerobic! The rhythm kung fu is my favorite. I also bought a yoga mat and stretch bands :) I'm still not doing it as often as I should...but I'm working on it.

5) I also arranged to eat dinner with my neighbors as often as possible. Side note: my neighbors are the coolest...just sayin. We eat almost every dinner together. We're all trying to eat healthier and spend less money. If we eat together we can also keep each other accountable.

6)I bought a baritone ukulele! As most of you might know, I've been playing a soprano ukulele for about a year now. The baritone is TOTALLY different. The soprano is strung GCEA while the baritone is strung DGBE just like the last for strings of a guitar. It's so sweet.

7) Biggest news of all!! I'm graduating April 30th. 3 1/2 years of work...finally coming to an end...I'm both excited and stressed. I have to defend my thesis by April 5th...and I'm not even done writing it!! Nor do I have all my experiments done!!!! AHHH!!!...but it's all going to work out...right? Yes!

What else should I be working on?
1) Resume needs to be updated
2) Must apply for jobs
3) Need to finish a drawing job
4) This lady needs a new phone...pronto
5) Must figure out a way to make the day last longer than 24 hours...hehehehe
