I wish I could paste a picture in here. My neighbor Lorea showed me this site today. Actual genetics are used in figuring out the coat color of Dobermans...so sweet...did you know there are 4 different color dobermans? My neighbors have a black one and a fawn one. The chart on this site shows that inheritance is based on dominance for color and a dilution factor...which looks like epigenetics.
I am totally using this when I teach genetics again.
