Gone public!

Our blog has gone public people! Yay!! As some of you might know, our blog was kept private while my husband Allen was deployed to Iraq. We started this blog to record our experiences and to have one more level of communication between us while we were millions of miles apart, hence our last title "Miles Apart But Close At Heart." Feel free to look back on our posts if you missed out. Since his return, we've made 2 big changes to our blog: making it public...and changing the name.

Allen came up with our new blog name "Love Wins: A Smith-taskic Tale." It's so perfect for us. We've had so many challenges in our relationship that we've had to push through and overcome and I'm sure the toughest is yet to come. In the end, love has always won and it will always win.

This weekend Allen is away again working on our rental properties in Kennesaw, GA. Currently, we have two vacancies up for rent. And I'm happy to say, we will only have one left vacant after this week :) Yippee! They are all located within a few miles of the Kennesaw State University campus. If any of you are interested or have a friend that might be interested in renting within the area please let us know.

I have been working on a presentation for this week. Tuesday, I will be giving a talk at the Cell Cycle Meeting on the research that I have been conducting over the last few months. This talk is kind of a big deal for me. Upon completion, I will have satisfied my seminar requirement which is needed to graduate. I'm so looking forward to Tuesday night...I will be done with my talk and Allen will be back home.
