What's new?

I graduated! Woo Hoo!!! I never thought it would happen and it did!! 3 1/2 years of blood, sweat, and tears. I've got my masters and I'm ready for the world...now someone give me a job, LOL!!! I have applied for several teaching positions...we'll see what happens. I'd love to teach, but I might just have to settle for something if I don't get hired soon.

I made my last drive from Tallahassee Wednesday night. Thursday we closed on the new house and today Mama and I priced painters and switched over the utilities. I'm so excited!! This house rocks...and what wonderful neighbors. They both graduated from Lassiter just a few years before me and they have a brand new puppy. I can't wait to move it. I'll have so much work to do.

I love Georgia :) I'm finally getting to be with my husband...still it's not as much as I would like. Allen is still working with Goldcrest Motors. The shop is doing great...and I couldn't be happier that he at least has a job. I only wish the hours were more reasonable. It's after 10:30pm and he still hasn't left the shop.

I'll get to spend plenty of time with him this weekend. We have another rental property for rent. We'll be working on it both Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully, we'll be able to rent it out soon.

What else is new? Everything! I went from grad student/TA/researcher to jobless graduate. I have to learn how to live in the same house with my husband (again) but now with my brother and mom too. I want to shop, dine, and catch up with old friends but I want to spend as little money as possible. I have all the time I ever wanted!!! Time where were you when I was getting my degree? LOL. I made a list of all the things I need/want to do:

1)Apply for more jobs.
2)Work on rental properties.
2)Thank you’s for graduation gifts (my brother already sent his out...I'm already behind, lol)
3)Laundry pile! (I have already done 7 loads!! This boy knows how to pile clothes)
4)Wash all cars (Especially the mazda...so many squashed bugs from highway traveling...so disgusting)
5)Unload/organize my things at Mama's house (I'm still living out of a suitcase).
6)Create eating/work out schedule for the fam...we're starting Monday!
7)Learn Spanish! I really want to do this...it's going to happen.
8)Play more uke :)
